I first met Joanne in late 2010. I was referred to her by the Rheumatologist after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. She treated me with the Bowen Technique and Craniosacral Therapy. Both helped me to relax and in those first few months, I really looked forward to each session as I had the most amazing night’s sleep afterwards. They also helped me feel ‘stronger’ and gradually I felt myself improving and began to make necessary changes in my life. Later I also attended Sheila for Acupuncture and Physiotherapy which helped relieve pain, stiffness and swelling. Fibromyalgia is complicated but I feel these treatments helped me find my way back from the illness and become more myself again.
